Bets on how long this "secret" can stay a secret: If the NYT knows, the writer will be leaked.

I give it 24 hours. Too many people at the paper know for it to remain a secret for any longer. These things always get leaked.

Just imagine how low white house morale is tonight!

Only a few people know, plus the writer and a go between person

Also they indicated he may write for them again ( didn't rule out the possibility)

Something this big, they are gonna keep a lid on it

before long, though probably not by a leak from the NYT. O'Donnell's speculation that it's Dan Coats makes sense because he's 75 and not looking for a future in GOP politics - though he clearly wants to stay in his job if he thinks he's keeping Trump from going any farther off the rails.
