Kavanaugh records being illegally suppressed

The partisan nature of what documents should be presented the Democratic Senators is appalling and smacks of a fixed process with a predetermined outcome. Was the process "fixed"?

When the National Archives claimed they need a sufficient amount of time to provide the requested documents to the Senate Judicial Committee, the "Rule of Law Committee" which they estimated to be some time in October. However, the Republicans, marching in lock step, were determined not to wait for the documents from the National Archives. Instead "the rule of law" Republican members, decided move forward, arbitrarily, absent concurrence from the Democratic members. In fact, Mr. Grassley stated that Mr. Leahy had provided "consent"
when further committee discussion established the complete partisanship in this process.

The meeting of Paul Ryan and others of the Republican leadership, determined the next focus of their fellow Republicans is that Mr. Kavanaugh be confirmed post-haste, before the mid-term election. Only then can the termination of Jeff Sessions can occur.

Mr. Cornyn stated, quoting from the Wall Street Journal, that Ms. Kagans document production from the National Archives were supervised by Bruce Lindsey, appointed by Mr. Clinton. Working with the National Archives Mr. Lindsey provided some 90% + of available documentation to the connittee. Whereas Mr. Cornyn attempts to conflate Mr. Burke sole authority to rule on which documents are ""committee confidential" absent the review or a bipartisan concurrence has only produced 10% of available documentation to the committee.

To make matters worse, Mr. Hatch, regarding this selection process for Mr. Kavanaugh, on day one, made his the position and by default his fellow Republicans on the committee absolutely clear, Mr. Kavanaugh should not be concerned as "You," (Mr. Kavanaugh) "will be confirmed".

No jurist that has determined how they will decide prior to proceeding should be allowed to participate in the process.
