It's very strange that he went into this debt, when he seems to have a reasonable income and then all of a sudden gets $200,000 in debts for baseball tickets and home improvements, and joins a country club with a $90,000 initiation fee...all in the past year?
Obviously they were grooming him already for this nomination that they set up at that time, so why did he rack up such insane debts and then how did he somehow get so flush with cash??
Seems like a fair question.

(6,324 posts)If you have $200,000 in debt but are current on the payments its a non-issue, unless its a level of debt way outside what your means would be.

(8,383 posts)When we lived in Northern Virginia, the FBI visited us to ask questions about a neighbor of ours who was applying for a routine upgrade to his classified clearance. We were asked if the family had made any large, expensive purchases lately, things that might be outside of their routine.

(20,585 posts)contact with Russians? A friend did personnel and they asked her neighbors several questions about Russian contacts. tRump could not pass a security clearance.
