would suggest she had something on Kavenaugh that she didn’t actually have. If she did that, it would blow an immense amount of political capital that she can’t risk. Anything’s possible I guess but just because she doesn’t grandstand like Avenatti doesn’t mean she isn’t packing, so to speak, right? I’m curious about who he is referring to...

When you read all the tweets together I thought he was complimenting Harris, not attacking her.

I do not understand the tactics. If Harris has info about a meeting between Kavanaugh and Trump's lawyers, why would she keep it under wraps now instead of springing it?

She wants to wait until the hearing is over to release it so that he doesn't have a chance to correct the record. There is speculation that she is referring to a particular attorney that he actually knows very well, so he would look like a liar if he claimed he didn't know who she meant or where he worked.

If Harris believes that it won't change a single vote to trap Kavanaugh and make him look like a liar before the Senate confirmation vote then I could agree. A motion could be brought before the SC when there is a case before it involving Trump and Mueller asking Kavanaugh to recuse and then releasing the meeting info as the reason, forcing him to step aside.

I would think putting him on record as a liar now would be the better move, but maybe there is more that Harris knows that would change that.
