The notion that the president is immune from indictment is ludicrous.

Trump goes crazier. Immune from prosecution.

Starts carrying a gun. SS still has to protect him so they escort him around.

House starts impeachment hearings.
Walks into the House, starts picking off dems, especially those that would be replaced by a loyal r.
Walks into the Senate, does the same, picks off a couple of more r's that aren't loyal enough for good measure.
Walks into the SC. Shoots whoever he doesn't care for.
Goes back to WH. Appoints some justices to replace those he just killed.
OY! TFB. The ONLY remedy is impeachment.

He can order goons to kill or kidnap members of congress or their families, and he can pardon them all.

The idea that the pressure should be above the law, even temporarily, is nuts.

It's terrible governance and contrary to the whole intent of the constitution, which is to create a government that minimizes the chance of tyranny.
