I saw this posted by people. I think unfortunately Mitt fucked himself over on this. People say this will go bring the talk to budget. But it's not the way I think most people will think. It will be tied in an elitist way.
Ryan's budget hurts "middle class" hard, cutting SS and medicare is a death plan that Ryan should never have publicly discussed. So Obama hit Romney to the core, with a dirty dealer move (by most accounts) with the woman who had cancer who worked for Bain. Imagine that connected to a man who is willing to take away the only medical and income based lifeline that some people in America have.
You have a man who took away a company, that then took away a woman's medical chance at survival, that resulted in her death (by the commercials built up) connected to a man that is willing to de-fund and/or cut people's health and medical plans so the government can then pay into a defense fund so they can then wage wars in another country. <----Talk about death camps (you'll die in your own home) for the old and sending jobs overseas.
In effect the two tickets want to kill off those who are sick and/or old who cannot contribute. Budget cutting means cutting SS and Medicare. Basically Romney really fucked up with this one. I can see a sweet commercial on what could happen on the Ryan plan when combined with the previous actions or inaction of Romney.
Although I hate fear mongering. This will be truthful fear mongering with an exponent handed over by the GOP. And to be honest...the extreme right GOP are just fuckin' too scary to think about.
Budget talks? Never will happen without discussing Ryan's plan to kill Medicare and SS. Dixiecrats are batshit crazy but they also know that they're grandparents, if they aren't one themselves depend on that shit.
This will paint Romney and Ryan as playing God with the lives of millions. One in his company and the second with policy. People will not like it. Not the sane or semi-sane ones anyway.

I expect the President's team to make that abundantly clear over the next three months.
