1. There's an Italian proverb like that:

"Zucca vuota fa tanto rumore."

"Zucca" would be a gourd filled with seeds, which make the noise. I think maybe "zucca" is slang for someone's head.

He never took back the racist lie that she took credit for getting an FBI building funded even though a video of the event clearly shows she did not and properly credited those who did.
