A new diet is sweeping through the alt-right movement that purports to keep you healthy and anger liberals at the same time its called carnivorism.
The diet, created and proliferated by Canadian psychologist and alt-right hero Jordan Peterson, consists of nothing but beef, salt, and water. Peterson was inspired to begin the diet after his daughter claimed that an all beef diet cured her of many ailments including depression.
Peterson followers were quick to support carnivorism. It was not long before the diet began trending on alt-right Facebook groups.
Daily Beast reporter Kelly Weill recently told Mother Jones Kari Sonde on the "Bite" podcast that people who identified with the alt-right saw this diet as way to embrace their masculinity while trolling liberals who believe mass meat production is hurting the environment.

I saw where one man fixed rib eye steaks and grilled salmon fir breakfast. I figured that one meal probably cost $25.

(16,423 posts)Not enough
* vitamin C (-> immune system)
* fluoride (-> teeth)
* magnesium (-> nerve-cells)
* sulphur (-> immune system)
* calcium (-> bones)
And you will get constipation, high blood-pressure, migraine and eventually gum-problems. And pray to God that you never catch a cold.
(The Inuit get vitamin C from chewing whale-skin, but I doubt that works with beef.)

(29,322 posts)That's why I'm a vegetarian but an all meat diet is crazy. Gotta have some green in there. LOL it's like they are trying to go to polar opposite of what they image the left to be.

(1,660 posts)There's nothing inherently political about a high-fat, low-carb diet. It makes metabolic sense for many people.
I normally follow a slightly more relaxed version of the same diet, including a wider variety of meats and fats, and salads.
BTW, the salt is mentioned there because such diets promote natriuresis, or excretion of sodium in the urine.
