I keep seeing this ridiculous sign at all the Trump rallies: Promises Made-Promises Kept.
(1). Trump promise not only to balance the budget, but to eliminate the US debt during his term of office. He has doubled the deficit in two years and increased the debt during a prosperous time. If we can't reduce the deficit with a 3.9% unemployment rate, when the fuck will we?
(2). Drain the swamp: There has been more corruption during the first 2 years of the Trump administration than in every administration, combined, since 1932.
(3). Mexico will pay for the wall: Every Trump Rally had this mantra: Build the wall". and who will pay for the wall? MEXICO shouts the crowd. Trump responds "100%". why do we need wall funding in any budget bill? I thought Mexico was paying.
(4). Trump always said: "I'll hire the best people". We can go through the litany of corrupt, incompetent people in this administration, but I don't have the time.
I have to go to work now. Please add to this list

(6,556 posts)that's because it has gone underground. He doesn't replace anything, he just destroys it. Take a look at what is happening behind the scene with ACA, Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. They are not taking those institutions down with bills passed on the floor of Congress, but with executive orders that are not advertised. The new Medicare ads are promoting these changes as "trump care". I am still fuming about a recent "federal change" in my Medicare Advantage plan that no one can explain to me. I've called my insurance provider, and they cannot point me to any law or rule that mandates the change. I called Medicare and got the same answer. They could give no information and suggested that I call my insurance company. I "politely" told them that I had already called them and they told me to call Medicare. I have signed up to attend a informational meeting with my insurance company in October.

(9,114 posts)A true swine, supremely swinish. He took his own sick grand nephew's health care away, to punish his nephew.
I tell his fans on construction sites that them backing him is like they're putting a gun to their head and pulling the trigger, but they grabbed my head and are holding it by theirs, first.

(23,123 posts)I beliee he said they'd be putting shovels in the ground within 6 months, well it's been close to 2 years and not one piece of legislation has come forward for a vote. Once he figured out his scam to give our nation's highways and bridges to the wealthy (and himself) at a 80% discount and taxpayers would be paying for these the rest of their lives wouldn't fly he had no interest. If he can't profit from it or can't hurt a minority or women, he has zero interest.

(523 posts)Instead of keeping his promise to come up with a better - and cheaper - medical care plan, Trump settled for sabotaging Obamacare so it would eventually implode .... but not one step closer to a replacement program.
Apparently Trump thinks that throwing paper towels at medical problems is a remedy.
While we're at it, can someone name even one bit of new legislation under Trump that worked a benefit for the working class?
