Democrats and Republicans are NOT the same on Social Security and Medicare

The Republicans plan to gut these programs or eliminate them entirely. The Democrats are playing weak defense and are willing to "compromise" with some cuts. Although these positions are different. NEITHER IS ACCEPTABLE!!

We should be slamming the Repukes every chance we get on this, but at the same time make clear to Democrats that we will NOT tolerate wussy compromises.

I recall the Pubs fighting SS when I was 10 years old, and I'm now 70! All my lifwe I've argued on the Dem side, but NOW I have a lot more reason the fight to keep the benefirts we have. SS is the only income we have in our household! Both my hubby & I worked all our lives and with the 2 checks, we are doing fine, but when one of us dies, life is not going to be too easy for the remaining one, and I hope everyone out there realizes that.

I think Mittens didn't do himself any favors with the RRyan pick, in fact, when I heard the announcement, the first thing I said was "Well now I KNOW you'll lose!"

Do NOT allow Dems to get by with some cuts just because they look less drastic than the Repuke budget.
