Senators don't operate in a vacuum. Let 'em know what you think about the process and the nominee. Kavanaugh could distort law in this country for decades.

when I called his office last Thursday and asked why he wasn't openly opposing the nomination, even with all the available evidence, I got NO answer. Just obfuscation.
I hope he will do the right thing and come out against this nomination.

One way to spin it: If this man's background is not clean, then he could very well be impeached and removed in the future, allowing either a future president to replace him, or a future senate to block his replacement. So let's not let him ascend to the court if that could happen.
