A Reuters/Ipsos poll taken September 11-17 found that only 31% of Americans are in favor of Kavanaugh’s appointment, with 36% being opposed, which is up 6 points from last month, making him the among the lowest-supported nominees to be later confirmed, according to Gallup.


Only 64% of Republicans are in favor of Kavanaugh’s nomination.

The number of women who oppose Kavanaugh’s opposition is up 7 points from a month earlier, to 33% opposed now.
