Monday may be the 'clever' artificial deadline set by the Republican panel

but it will backfire into even more of a tsunami than they’ll be able to ever forget. Historically this will be the dying gasp of a party of white men because from now on they will be a minority. This election women are coming to getya guys. But for every other election after that all the people you oppressed will be in charge. You and your fascist party leader will know that very soon, and you will feel it to your core the way you made everyone else feel it. And when things improve for your core supporters they will leave you too.

Let’s see how clever you feel in less than a generation.

I’m 70 years old and I will live to see this.

I never put anything past them. They are sneaky and evil and rich, so they are likely to pull anything to stay in power.

Trump was ‘elected’ two years ago and everything has changed. That’s really f#*@ing fast for politics!

Those writers were absolutely correct. It may take a few more Mithras all within record time but it is happening.

...there is a disconnect between policies and knowing who is responsible for those policies.

Between that and the corruption and the fact that our system so heavily favors rural areas and small states, I'm not holding my breath in waiting for the GOP's demise.

We need to do much more to drastically reduce racism and sexism before we see the Republican Party cease to be viable.

You just never hear the good news the way you hear the bad. Just do your part and it will happen.

Memories are much longer than is generally perceived.

There’s been a whole new resurgence of the Nixon crimes a
AND Anita Hill’s hearing. People who never heard of them or didn’t know the details have learned the history.
