If Kavanaugh gets bounced...

...I wonder if he's going to have to return the 2-300k he used to pay off his gambling debts a couple months ago. Arguably, whoever paid it is going to feel like they're not getting their money's work. Seriously. I get 300k for a SCOTUS Justice but for an Appellate Judge - I can't see any more than 50-60k...maybe 75k if it's out in the Ninth.

He's not just fighting for the privilege of serving on the SCOTUS...he might be fighting for his kneecaps.

... Red Don when it comes to being indicted.

Even if they get another scum bag in there they don't know if said scum bag will be an up or down vote for Red Don being indicted and they can't take that chance.

I'm looking at the people who are ramming this through like Grassley

Of course he'd be on the peoples finances that need a thorough looking at.
