which was put out in paperback form and was EVERYWHERE soon afterward. I think it was that report that released all those creepy details. I did read the guardian article of the questions Kavanaugh wanted asked -- and he is a creep.

Oddly, with those questions, Bill Clinton may have eithered refused to answer or answered truthfully as there would have been no way to parse a response that would mislead but be even remotely defensible as true. His impeachment was for perjury and obstruction of justice. With those questions, there might have been nothing that could have called perjury. It would have meant Clinton telling the full truth at least half a year earlier.

This does not say that Kavanaugh was not a creep and it certainly makes it ironic that he has been troubled in his hearing prep that people want him to answer embarrassing questions on HIS actions.

Kavanaugh worked with Starr but left before the Lewinsky scandal broke. But he was probably responsible for most of the Vince Foster bullshit.

however, he returns to the Starr investigation in time to write the report on the Lewinsky scandal which is the basis for the GOP impeachment of Clinton. So, I think what I said orginally is true. He's responsible for us just knowing that Clinton had had an affair. instead, we have to find out who stuck what where and how many times.
