Who heard Avenatti on Rachel just now, the most watched show on cable? He just blew it all up.

His involvement could be a game-changer. Millions of people watch her. Rachel read his email RE gang rapes, trains.

Avenatti kept hammering on what's the rush; there needs to be an investigation and all witnesses need to be heard. THey discussed that this is potentially criminal activity.

And just before the break, she started talking about another new development - a letter from Ford's new attorney to the committee about a number of issues her attorneys were contesting.

Between Avenatti and this new lawyer they may just get the FBI hearing after all. These guys are uncovering more information than
the government. How sad is that?

They are going to have these old farts so shook up, they'll start dropping like flies. What a mess.

The Repubs think they can snap their fingers and get their way. The winds are changing, so they'd better get used to it.

The next 48 hours are going to be interesting to see them all squirm.

Or he feels certain that there is Ford and a whole lot more that disqualify Kavanaugh.

That is pretty damn far to go to resign your partnership. You have to be very, very passionate about this issue and probably in the know on a lot of things.

exactly what is at stake here in terms of the preservation of our democracy.

SCOTUS is having a crisis all its own right now. The founding fathers set up the Supreme Court to be completely independent of politics and political influence or corruption, yet look at how the Court has increasingly been lurching to the right. Worse, since Roberts became Chief Justice, the Court has increasingly - and uncharacteristically - been immersed in over-turning precedent setting cases. This is not the Court's primary, secondary or even tertiary, purpose, and it should upset everyone. The rate at which this is occurring is disturbing.

"Bromwich himself followed suit through Twitter as well, writing, “I’m honored to be joining Debra Katz and Lisa Banks in representing Dr. Ford.”

In a statement provided to the employees of his now-former law firm, Bromwich announced his immediate resignation due to objections from the firm’s partners. He wrote, in part:

Within the past few days I have been asked to be one of Christine Blasey Ford’s attorneys. My role will likely require me to appear publicly on Dr. Ford’s behalf, and the Senate is being advised of my involvement this afternoon. Because objections have been raised within the partnership to my doing so while employed by the firm. I am resigning from the firm effective immediately. This obviously is happening on a schedule that could not be anticipated."

The last thing we need is another head of state with no government experience. But, I would be quite fine seeing him as US Attorney General, or in some other spot in the Justice Department.

The GOP has been the loudest, angriest voice in the room for far too long. We Democrats actually have policies worth shouting about; Republicans only shout lies.
