victims are being treated..

is that if he does not present a client with new allegations it is going to damage his own credibility.

It may have been more prudent for him to have said nothing until the time he made an announcement.

Or he could be lining up all his ducks for an announcement this afternoon.

You never know with him. I think that is the way he wants it.
