Good point by @BradMossEsq—particularly because
Julie Swetnick has a security clearance, she has put
her career on the line by submitting a sworn declaration
to the Senate.

I have no idea if Julie Swetnick is telling the truth. I can
say this: submitting a sworn affidavit carries with it
criminal liability if she perjured herself.

Also, as a clearance holder, giving perjured statements
would be a career-ender. Take that for what it's worth.

Maybe I'm too cynical, but now the GOP will want to get Kavanaugh confirmed just to prove to us whiny liberal #metoo-ing women that they can do any damn thing they please and we can't stop them.

choking on his bile now. Think about the accelerated timeline to ram this vote through. They knew this info, stalled all other witnesses, no investigations, and castigating all of victims as crazed liars. Evil.

Likely that it's his own place or that of a friend. Not uncommon for folks in DC to have a beach place down in Rehobeth, Dewey, or Ocean City. Bethany is more upscale but there are a lot of areas along the beach were you can have a 3-4 room place for a very reasonable price (assuming you bought it 30 years ago).

I would assume he's at some friend's place down there.

Someone may be paying him to hide, but the actual cost of his hiding is probably little more than a normal weekend or two at the beach.
