But how many "good christians," house freedom caucus folk, and value voters are
still OK w/Kavanaugh's drugging and raping women?

(11,885 posts)then he'll be looking at being charged for his crimes, and there will be numerous issues he'll be fighting in court. He's very corrupt , and arrogant too thinking he could get away with this.

(115,693 posts)I think this is the hill the GOP has chosen to die on, and they are going to get him confirmed by hook or by crook just to prove they can have their way with us, too.

Swetnick, in an affidavit posted online by Avenatti, claims that Kavanaugh, as a high school student in
the early 1980s, with others spiked the drinks of girls at house parties with grain alcohol and/or drugs to
"cause girls to lose inhibitions and their ability to say 'No.' "
Swetnick said these efforts by Kavanaugh and his buddy Mark Judge were done so the girls "could then
be 'gang raped' in a side room or bedroom by a 'train' of numerous boys." She said "I became the victim"
of one such rape "where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present."

(8,678 posts)I think the initial claim by Dr Ford was somewhat tolerable but this one is too much.
Probably by the end of the day today he pulls.

There's got to be dots from her relationship with him that she could connect. Dots that would tell her these allegations are true. Might not be explicit dots, but dots nonetheless.

(8,756 posts)Every single one is down with rapey Kavanaugh. They either agree that its a woman's lot in life to be groped and assaulted by men, or they simply don't give a fuck so long as they can get their anti-choice agenda pushed through the courts.
Stop worrying about those people. They ain't gonna change, you aren't gonna suddenly convince them of the error of their ways. They are full aware of what kind of a creep Kavanaugh is and they'll support him anyway. Single issue voters are like that. Forget them, move on to people who actually aren't assholes.
