David Corn called Mark Judge's attorney

Mark Judge’s Lawyer: He Won’t Say Anything Until the Kavanaugh Confirmation Process Ends

After the Swetnick affidavit was released, I asked Judge’s attorney for Judge’s response and whether he would return to Washington and make himself available to any investigators who might want to examine these latest allegations against Kavanaugh.

“He is denying the allegations in the Swetnick affidavit,” Van Gelder replied, “and not publicly talking about these matters during the pendency of the confirmation hearings.” She then amended her statement to “during the pendency of the confirmation process.” Meaning Judge won’t say anything until it can no longer have any bearing on whether Kavanaugh is confirmed.

“Can you say why that is?” I asked Van Gelder.

“No,” she said.

I took a stab at one other question: “Does Mark know Julie Swetnick?”

“I just gave you my statement,” she said.

She thinks this is a reality show. She should investigate the producer.

...or accepting a pardon?

To my thinking, it appears to acknowledge guilt. I mean, seriously..."I won't say anything until I know it won't keep Kavanaugh off the Court?" So Judge knows he can incriminate himself, as well as Kavanaugh, so he chooses to say nothing and hide?

Am I barking up the wrong tree here or....nah?

I guess his client would have to file suit to get standing for that.
