(10,952 posts)and sex crimes in Maryland, Ms. Swetnick filed a criminal complaint and Kavanaugh gets convicted it is hard to sit on the bench if you are sitting in jail.

(42,703 posts)The wording of her statement, undoubtedly vetted by Avenatti, says that Judge and Kavanaugh were "present" at the party where she was gang raped. Knowing how Avenatti works, if she could say directly that he participated in the rape, her statement would have said that.
I think she'd have a hard time getting the authorities to pursue a criminal case against Kavanaugh unless she is willing to say he was one of the rapists.
