The corporate world will probably encourage him to get rid of government and the "rule of law" altogether. "Let the markets decide!" "Drown it in a bathtub!" The promise of a lawless, incompetent juvenile "deconstructing the administrative state," i.e. eliminating government protections and enforcement, probably explains much of the stock market's rise since TheRump took office.

I agree with the tweet about letting them off the hook, but we also wind up paying the cost to clean up. They get us coming and going.

Also the chart shows the dollar cost. White collar criminals risk much less prison time even with enforcement. We ought to be increasing those prison terms, but if there is no investigation there is no fine nor prison risk.
