The entire Clinton mess was a theatrical partisan hit job from day one.

It would be an exercise in futility, IMO, and I'd rather not see us go down that road. It would fail bigly because it wouldn't get past either house.

I'd rather not have impeachment be the Dem platform.

Besides, it did little to no damage to Clinton.

Impeachment might hurt tRump, but it will not get him out of office. He's damn near got the majority of SCOTUS in his pocket as it is.

Nobody wants to hear this, but we need to win the houses to stop tRump as much as possible. But he's there until he loses a bid for a second term. That I do believe.

the 25th would have to come from inside the Cabinet/Administration, which might happen if the Impeachment trial looks grim. Dems would have jack to do with it - it would be a face-saving move from the Republic Party.
