Fox News fires contributor for calling Kavanaugh accusers 'lying skanks'

Fox News fired network contributor Kevin Jackson on Thursday after he called the women who have accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct “lying skanks" in a Twitter rant that day.

"Kevin Jackson has been terminated as a contributor. His comments on today’s hearings were reprehensible and do not reflect the values of FOX News,” the network said in a statement.

Jackson had commented on Thursday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Twitter throughout the day, attacking the appearance, academic accomplishments and overall integrity of Chrstine Blasey Ford, the first woman to publicly accuse Kavanaugh of sexual assault.

Ford, appearing before the committee on Thursday, delivered an emotional testimony in which she detailed her allegations against Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh testified before the Senate panel later Thursday afternoon.
