We are in an era where talking heads focus on showmanship and appearances, how something “came off” while intelligent analysis is lost. The fawning over Kavanaugh’s supposed fighting spirit and how his tears seemed credible were frustrating to watch. Any person with a brain could see that the most obvious and only strategy this dickhead had was to put on an aggressive offense, cry for sympathy, use his family as a shield, and distract with every GOP buzzword like “The Clintons” and “left wing conspiracy.” Do innocent people act like this? Hasn’t every kid who got busted started out by crying to get out of it? This guy looked like a cornered animal that had just been caught in the henhouse. Throwing everything at you including the kitchen sink for survival.
What got lost in all this was the very credible testimony that Ford displayed and that they claimed only 30 minutes earlier was so devastating to Republicans.
