Lindsey Graham was Auditioning to be Trump's AG

That's why he abandoned support for Sessions. That's why he convinced McCain's grieving widow. That's why he remained silent while Trump disrespected McCain during his funeral week. That's why he's been playing grab ass with Trump on these golf outings. And that's why he went on this atrocious tirade today at the Kavanaugh hearings.

Graham has no pride, no heart and obviously, no soul. Lindsey Graham could very well become the greatest danger to the Russia investigation by the first of next year.

Wait until we see those confirmation hearings.

Got a link showing his interest? Who would trade a Senate seat to work for Mr. You're Fired? Alhena Sep 2018 #2

The gubernatorial seat is pretty safe and Gov would likely pick a more conservative senator (who would then have two years to get comfortable)... and conservatives (never big fans of Graham until perhaps today) would prefer him to Sessions.

The only contrary point that I can think of is that he has publically stated that a new AG would have to promise to let Mueller finish his work.

...with logical reasoning about the sudden and complete change by Graham into a Trump sycophant.

There are other variables, including if the Dems take the Senate, then being in the minority makes his seat less appealing. His age and the fact that his true buddies, Lieberman and McCain are no longer there.

This is my own speculation, but I believe it does have merit.
