After Kavanaugh's ranting tirade today, if he is affirmed to the Supreme Court, he will have to

Recuse himself from almost everything that comes before the court. What we saw today was an Alex Jones clone in a nice suit and tie. He is a conspiracy theory nut job. His grasp on reality is clearly not judicious and his temperament that of a Fox News wacko.

Who tells a Supreme Court justice when he needs to recuse himself?

Just his own conscience. So read that how you will.

After his reaction today... I think he's just waiting for payback.

I think that much of his sense of entitlement comes from an expectation that he's earned this seat due to his obedience during his other WH jobs and his participation in sacking Democratic presidents and nominees.

And as far as payback, if you aim at the king, you better not miss.

If he is confirmed after all this, I fully expect him to twist the knife into progressives as deep and as often as possible.

yet he puts their welfare secondary to his self-promotion.

And he does it in plain sight.

If truth be told, he's probably unworthy of anything he possesses.

authority of the GW Bush administration were pending before him---no recusal.

Thomas's wife Ginny is a regular speaker and fund raiser for all manner of Tea Party-related groups, some of which actively participate in cases before the Court---no recusal.

I wouldn't stand on one leg and hold my breath until Kavanaugh, if confirmed, recuses from any case.
