They play good cop, bad cop. Unfortunately, they lost the plot and Kavanaugh was unprotected from his past. Durbin murdered his credibility. It was so ugly Grassley had to umpire a time out to coast Kavanaugh. It was delicious!

it would seem that the women in the room were composed, dignified and professional. Though I did not see much by the woman the GOP chose to question her. Was her participation meaningful?

I love Kamala Harris more and more. Her response concerning Gorsuch was calm, exacting and correct.

She did not accomplish what they wanted her to accomplish, although she did her due diligence to poke holes in Ford's state of mind (e.g., her admitted "fear of flying" ), so they benched her when it came time for the GOP to question him. I.e., she was given one chance - I suppose in lieu of Grassley's questioning - and that was that.
