Three or four generations ago

when the Irish were still not entirely accepted in the circles of power, Brett Kavanaugh would have likely been a priest, a position of power in immigrant communities. He may have even risen to be a bishop, maybe even a cardinal. My opinion, of course, based on his lust for power, his disdain for women, and his general attitude that he's above the normal rank and file. I was raised an old-school Catholic: he reminds me of the priests who drove me away from the Church.
