The civil war lives

We made a big mistake as a country.

We should have hung every Confederate General and officer as traitors.
We should have never allowed Jim Crow laws.
We should have never allowed statues, or flags, or any traitorous symbols.

We should have done as Germany did post WWII and outlawed it all.

Now we have this mess.
Hated, bigotry, racism, and RW Republican rule.

The northern ones should have then joined the newly formed confederation called Canada.

States like NY, MI, MN and the New England ones have more in common with Ontario and the Atlantic provinces than they do Texas or Alabama.
