Well, this is what happens when you cannot hold your liquor and then do not remember how repulsive you were.

Thus, withdraw your nomination, resign as a judge and go find a high paying jobs - I am sure there will be many offer. Start shielding your daughters from the hatred and derision that will accompany you for the rest of your life.

than Dr. Ford's testimony did. Mostly because of how little men in power care about women not in power, but also a decent amount because he came across as an unhinged loon, every bit the nasty drunk he was accused of or rumored to be.

“This is a circus,” Kavanaugh said at one point, his voice rising to a pitch. “The consequences will extend long past my nomination. The consequences will be with us for decades. This grotesque and coordinated character assassination will dissuade confident and good people of all political persuasions from serving our country and as we all know in the political system of the United States in the early 2000s, what goes around comes around.”

That last line struck many as a veiled thread of political retaliation and caused some to question whether Kavanaugh will be able to maintain his independence if confirmed.

That's what I thought when I heard it. Maybe he's like Donny and never forgets...to get even for what he perceives as a slight.
