A crying Brett Kavanaugh. This is what white male privilege looks like

But in watching Kavanaugh sniffle and choke back tears on Thursday as he talked about his teenage years of football, beer, parties and pricey schools, it became clear that the sorry display was a prime example of how the concepts of privilege and entitlement are changing in this country, and why the Trump-supporting wing of the Republican Party is so freaked out about it.

He affected a twee, antiquated posture throughout the proceedings. Kept his mouth drawn up in a puckered-sphincter. Used Grampa's turn of phrase, but came away sounding like a broken car alarm. As if he hadn't authored statements like those that were found in his yearbook and calendar: FFFFF, Devil's triangle, boofing. ETC.
