Why are we pretty much only hearing from the one with the PhD? Everyone seems to love to say Dr. Ford, but the other ladies are barely getting attention. We barely hear their names.

Why? Is there something about the level of education that makes Ford's allegation more compelling than the others?

5. The others are educated. The Kavanaugh-Ford hearing has

sucked up all the oxygen right now.

Debbie Ramirez's claim actually has a pretty good group of supporting witnesses, though media are still quoting from that shabby NYT article that claims only that no eyewitnesses were identified. (The others in the room all deny being there and egging Kavanaugh on.) Most attention will likely focus on her next.

Except for right-wing hit media. Avanatti's persona and sensational and broad claims make them a useful for weaponizing. A damping effect from even honest skepticism may be hurting the other claimaints, including of course Julie Swetnick. I've heard and read doubts and rejections from a number of sources, like a woman who knows Ford and grew up in that area, of the claims of almost common gang rapes presented in that document. It's very unfortunate for all of us that they didn't focus more tightly and accurately on what they believe can be proven, or at least used to achieve their goals.

Those 2 are the only other ones who've come forward to accuse publicly.

6. The one about the boat is really a horror story of a rape by Kavanaugh

He mentioned this in one of his tirades against a Democrat at the hearing yesterday. I only just heard about it right before the hearing.

This guy is a nut, he has a history of extreme statements, he once called on the US Military to stage a coup and overthrow the Trump admin.

If this happened, the victim will need to gather the courage to come forward herself. As will the unidentified woman who was reportedly thrown against a wall.
