The Republicans will vote for Kavanaugh. Because math.

Once Kavanaugh is seated, it will take a 2/3 vote in the Senate and a 2/3 vote in the House to impeach him.

That will never happen, because Democrats will never get more than 60 Senators, even if they win in a national landslide. And they will never get more than 55% in the House, because of gerrymandering, even if they win in national a landslide.



Kavanaugh is safe.

though your point stands, we're not at all likely to get 67 senators for a long, long time.
