Avenatti might be able to call a time out.

He should take his client to whatever law enforcement agency is appropriate and file an official, criminal complaint. How could they possibly confirm someone under investigation for sex crimes?

Ignoring the fact that I don’t even believe this particular witness, if you read between the lines on her statement… She doesn’t even really accuse him directly.

She says that she saw him in line... but can’t testify directly that he assaulted anyone. In her own assault she merely says that he was “present”. When Avenatti was asked if he was involved or even in the room... he dodged.

I don’t think most of the Democrats on the committee believe her... and most think (IMO) that Avenatti hurt the far more credible Ford with the accusation on the eve of her testimony

4. She doesn't want to. She doesn't remember the date or the location of the attack. A defense

attorney would tear her apart. She might be credible to a jury, but without more details it would be nigh impossible to prosecute Kavanaugh for this 36-year-old crime.
