2. Wow, that says a ton to me.

I am a retired lawyer and I cannot begin to imagine the dean of my law school asking that I be investigated. It is usually a matter of pride for a school to have someone on the federal bench -- especially SCOTUS -- so to ask that the candidate be investigated? That speaks volumes.

3. I am becoming, okay have been for sometime, cynical...what the hell are they going to say and do..

Sit on the sidelines and say and do nothing??? of course not, I see this as a CYA moment for the legal community.....I wish I didn't feel this way...

When someone says they didn't do something...you know, like, put a hand over some ones mouth to keep them from screaming - are they going to admit it?? -

After all, supreme justice on the line....

8. The Law School students already had a time out "strike" to protest his nomination last week

But this is even more meaningful - it's the Dean (and presumably the administration) joining in this.
