The brazen lying under oath shocked me. And I'm not too easily shockable.

I don't know why any of the Dems didn't point out how obvious it was that he was lying.

The most brazen of all, IMO, was Renate Alumnus. Nobody, in that room, or anyone in the world, actually believed that "Renate Alumni" was some kind of homage to a mutual female friend (who had no idea that there was an homage to her and was offended by it). ZERO people who have been alive, ever, could possible believe that. It's like something George Constanza would try. What a farce.

Also a totally obvious lie is that "Beach Week Ralph Club" was about a weak stomach, and not drinking to the point of puking. Seriously, who believes that? Why would there be a "club" if he was the only guy with a bad stomach? Who puts their bad stomach in their yearbook? Next to "100 kegs or bust"?

Then there's "Devil's Triangle", the drinking game nobody on earth has ever heard of, and which other kids at his school said referred to a threesome.

Also obviously he was a black-out drunk at least through college. He claims he never blacked out. I have trouble thinking of A SINGLE PERSON I knew who partied HALF as much as him in either HS or College, and who hasn't blacked out and/or puked at least once due to drinking. Certainly not a football player who writes "100 kegs or bust" in his yearbook. What planet do you have to live on to believe this guy?

Etc. There's plenty more obvious examples of easily proven lies. Not that doing this stuff in high school should be disqualifying for a SCOTUS justice, but lying about it under oath obviously should be.

It's SO BRAZEN, it's hard to believe. Anyone who partied (at all) in high school or college, or who played on a sports team, or has even been alive in the US knows EXACTLY what all this meant. Even people who don't believe the multiple under-oath accusations of sexual assault, ALL OF THEM KNOW THAT HE WAS LYING ABOUT ALL THAT.

I'm also pretty upset that none of the Dems on the panel made this point (AFAIK). Just simply say "dude, everyone knows your lying, everyone." Just to lay out how obvious it was. And the media coverage too. Where are all the people saying that he was obviously lying through his teeth? Obviously! Everyone knows he was lying! Everyone knows what teenagers are like, and what happens when a HS football team gets together to go drinking! WTF!?!?!?
