If it's up to McConnell, this may well play out like Kabuki theater.

He's a NO on the nomination unless there's a one week FBI investigation. McConnell will have to agree if Collins, or any other GOPers go along with Flake, which they probably will.

It's probably the best we could hope for at this point.

A preliminary can be done in one week. Enough to cause further doubts and to strike more fear into the GOP's darkness.

The other alternative seems to be to file charges in Maryland.

My predictions are proving to be wrong- thank god - i just don't trust Flake and no way did I believe Trump was going to put the FBI on this
