Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsCan the FBI open sealed juvenile records? For example, in the case of Kavanaugh,
his yearbook includes a reference to "Rehobeth Police Fan Club (with Shorty)"
Mark Judge's says, "Rehobeth Police Fan Club 2, 3, 4."
So I'm wondering. . . .

(90,767 posts)Bring them in, fuss on them, let them go - no record made.
And from the yearbook accounts, it does sound like a big joke where they did get/have frequent contact - or a memorable one - with the police that was casually handled.

(90,767 posts)Simply because they didn't get your juvenile offense does not mean they don't have the ability because it is part of their arsenal, to go after expunged records if they choose.
My husband, retired military, currently works with security clearance for the Army.

(90,767 posts)If a record is ever held on a computer, it can be found.
Back before computers, a sealed record could still be found.
But some juvenile records were literally destroyed. As it seems yours were.

(42,704 posts)because the Rehobeth Police let them go on one or more occasions where they might otherwise have gotten in trouble.
I used to go to Rehobeth back in that same period (I was out of school by then but our family had a place not far from Rehobeth. The police were rather forgiving -- if they weren't the damn jail would have been filled to capacity with drunk teenagers every night.
