BREAKING: Sen. Lisa Murkowski joins Sen. Jeff Flake in backing delay in Senate vote on Kavanaugh

HERE IS THE UPDATE -

Kavanaugh vote: Flake, Murkowski back FBI investigation; Senate committee advances nominee

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted along partisan lines Friday to advance the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh after securing a key vote from Sen. Jeff Flake, who asked for a delay of up to a week before the full Senate votes. Flake (R-Ariz.) said the delay would allow a limited FBI investigation of allegations of sexual assault while Kavanaugh was a teenager.

The 11-to-10 vote came a day after hearing riveting testimony from Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has accused President Trump’s nominee of sexual assault at a house party in Maryland in the early 1980s.

Flake’s request cast doubt on whether the full Senate would take a procedural vote on Saturday, as previously announced, as other wavering lawmakers seem likely to join Flake. Earlier in the day, Republican leaders had vowed to take a final vote to confirm Kavanaugh by early next week. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), considered another swing vote, said in an interview that she supports Flake’s call for a delay.

With a slim 51-49 majority in the Senate, it would be difficult for the GOP to press ahead with a procedural vote on Saturday if two Republican senators defect.

Call them!
Call them and tell them that they will NOT get reelected by the majority of the US who is against Kavanaugh.
Call all senators and tell them that they are HYPOCRITES and you only vote for reps who have morals and values and who respect women. RESISTANCE WORKS!

Call the 8 "iffy" Dem and GOP senators too.

since he wasn't running again, but he chose not to stick his neck out. Both Corker and Flake have Democrats who are polling ahead in their states (TN & AZ) to fill their vacancies.

If trump doesn't give ok for FBI then he doesn't get his nominee.
Do you Think his name will be withdrawn after all is said and done?

that Drumpf was okay with it. He basically said they have to do what they have to do and he thinks things will go "okay".

(ummm okay )

I doubt he will withdraw him though.

Democrats "fall in love" and Republicans "fall in line". To be the "maverick" they have to be a certain type of equivocater who is willing to keep the "act" going for a good period of time but then still be a reliable "yes" for their party for something else.

There are several agendas going on here and I think the biggest pusher of this one is Turtle. The evil is just oozing from every pore of his scaly skin.
