Brett Kavanaugh was born 2/12/65. On July 1st 1982 the legal drinking age in MD was raised to 21, when Kavanaugh was 17. He did not drink legally until 2/12/86. If he’d lie about something so easy to debunk, why should we believe anything he says?

1. I remember this well.

Kavanaugh is a few months older than me, but we were both born in 1965 (and I also grew up in Maryland).

The reason I remember this so well is because my older brother was born on June 30, 1964....so he was grandfathered in (by one day!) with the 18 year old drinking age - yet another friend who was also born in 1964, but had an early July birthday had to wait until he was 21 to drink legally.

So Kavanaugh would have had to know that the drinking age in Maryland for us (and anyone else born in 1965) would have been 21.
