. . . an Orrin Hatch character. Seemed like it took ol Orrin a long 25 seconds [as the camera was mostly on Grassley at 2p today], to get out of his seat, and then stabilize himself, standing up. Then, . . . he moved . . . ever so slowly . . . towards an exit.

He thinks it makes him look "weak". We heard this after Melissa McCarthy played Sean Spicer last year. I hope they get Rosie O'Donnell to play Kavanaugh.

If they go whole hog it could intensify some people's sympathy for him. But somehow SNL can often pull it out and hit just the right note. I'm going to watch!
