Because of his own experience, I've always enjoyed Lawrence the most when he so clearly explains the inner workings and interpersonal relations of Washington.

Perhaps that is why I think The West Wing was one of the best series on TV.

I had been listening to the Dems speeches and when the GOP spoke I muted them. I used that time to call the Dem senators' local offices to thank them for their work. I couldn't figure out why Harris and Hirono were outside and not doing statements like the rest were. When I saw Coons speak in the hall later he looked like he was very emotional too. What a rough day.

Coons specifically said he would not participate in a left wing conspiracy to smear a nominee. I thought that was what convinced his friend Flake. Kavboy, Lindsey Graham, and other Republicans have been crying "left wing conspiracy!" Coons sincerely refuted it and I think Flake believed his friend. Trust between friends.
