Looking for an article about progressive backlash to partisan judge
A few weeks (I think) back I remember reading an article (I think it was either posted here or on Alternet) which talked about how the last time such an unpopular, partisan nominee was put on the SCOTUS it resulted in a progressive voter backlash which lasted 40 or 50 years. I'm trying to track down that article but I can't find it. Anyone have a recollection of that article? I want to share it with some people.
