I feel like that’s what the republi-CONS are trying, rather desperately, INCREASINGLY desperately, to keep on doing that to women.

Take it to the bank. They STILL want to be able to do that to women. To silence women. To muzzle women. To discount and dismiss and demean women - our feelings, our experiences, our worldview, hell, even the most basic bedrock of WHO. WE. ARE.

Except the GOP has exposed themselves completely (so to speak!), and the floodgates have opened.

I don't think they can stop the wave that's coming at them. They have overestimated their power and underestimated the resistance and resolve of decent women and men. We must express our outrage and resist relentlessly. The momentum women and men who are the victims of this insane naked blatant attempt to control our minds and bodies and LIVES must go to the finish. If Americans have been guilty of political complacency in the past, I think those days are over. I don't think anything will ever be the same.
