George W. Bush called undecided senators to sway them to vote for Kavanaugh: report

https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/408995-george-w-bush-reportedly-called-undecided-senators-to-sway-them

Former President George W. Bush reportedly called senators who were previously undecided in their vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in an effort to sway them to favor Kavanaugh's nomination, The Washington Post reported Thursday.

Bush reportedly reached out to senators who were previously undecided ahead of the Senate panel’s vote on Friday, including Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), aides told the newspaper.

It is unclear whether the former president reached out to senators before Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, the first woman to accuse him publicly of sexual assault, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday...

He is still really bad horrible person and hypocrite. He slams drumpf, but it was only out of anger for Jeb. Now he's showing who he truly is and pushing for this rw trojan horse to be installed to protect his party and president. He's nothing but a dumb party hack and is still the 2nd worst president in the history of the USA.

What bad stuff putin and trump has on him now. That's how they get people to turn around and support their causes, or comprises them.

The unforgivable GOP won't give the archivists enough time to produce the Kav's records (which likely include crimes swept under the rug during those awful years).

The turtle himself said the Kav had lots of dirty documentation. Most of it we haven't seen.

What little we have is bad: The Kav is a coked up drunk, a flying monkey rightwinger who did dirty work for his fellow coked up Yalie, George W. Bush.

So GW has stuff to hide and the Kav is his kinda guy.

I mean come on people, we're supposed to forget about the hundreds of thousands of deaths he needlessly caused because he said a few unkind words about Trump?

This is W in a nutshell. Loyalty is everything. He thought so little of the Supreme Court, he nominated Harriet Miers.

Torture justification, possession of stolen Democratic files, strategy to shift public anger from Osama to Saddam, WMD lies .... Probably lots more we don’t know about in those 100,000 or so documents they’re hiding.

I really wish someone had asked Kavenaugh whether he handled stolen material (maybe they did and I missed it). Make him perjure himself yet again.
