(3,496 posts)Multiple "train" parties?
I'm confused.

(3,496 posts)If she was actually at multiple parties.

(5,271 posts)She saw him act inappropriately to other women and says that although she avoided the punch because she knew it was spiked, she believes her drink was somehow spiked at one party where he was in attendance and she became incapacitated enough to become a rape victim. However although he was present at that party, she does not know whether or not he was one of the boys who raped her.

(137 posts)She was 20 years old and thought she was going to parties for fun. Little did she know a bunch of repulsive 15-16 year old boys were raping women. I feel for her.

(129,285 posts)There were probably whole piles of folks back then in their circle, going from house to house on weekends (particularly during the summer) when parents were "out of town".
The private schools there were generally not co-ed so the high school "mixing" often happened elsewhere.

if FBI failed to contact his client and discuss her charges.
Edited to remove typo. Maybe one day I'll get as good on the flat keyboards as I was on the raised ones, but it hasn't happened yet.

(269,123 posts)This Carrie woman is beyond obnoxious.
Apparently ReTHUGs think shouting down others is the way to go.

(10,885 posts)I missed Avanetti's appearance, but came in in time to view the panel discussion with Jill Wine-Banks, John Harwood, et al.
Benita Gupta nailed her description of Kavanaugh and his effect on Thursday's hearings. Everything was in control until Kav's rage-filled entrance, and then the entire mood and demeanor of the hearings changed as the Senate panel adopted his attitude. You could visibly note the change. Gupta's description was much more detailed, but you can get the idea.
This Carey Sheffield was a Kavanistic mess! She came on the show in much the same way that Kavanaugh entered the hearings...loaded for bear, ready to fight. She's "National Editor for Accuracy in Media"? Good grief! As we doubt Kav's fitness as potential SC Justice, so should we doubt Sheffield's fitness to work for Accuracy in Media. Her outrageousness did her no good in her appearance today. Joy's heartfelt sign-off with Sheffield was the perfect example of soothing the beast, and how to be an effective show host. Good job today, Joy!
