I remember the election of 2010 when

the Republicans won back the House overwhelmingly. I also believe one of the reasons Republicans won was because Democrats did not show any fight whatsoever. This pissed many Democratic voters off and they did not bother to show up to vote for these spineless Democrats.
Most Democrats would not allow President Obama to enter into the campaign and help.

Obamacare was the on the ballot and Democrats would not standup and fight for it.
The huge deficit brought about by Obama's plan to save us from an near depression brought about by an incompetent GW Bush administration, but yet Democrats sat on their hands and allowed the Republicans to blame everything on them.
I believe this is big reason they lost the House and barely held the Senate because as I said voters didn't show up because Democrats did not show them a fight.
Fast forward to 2018...wow Democrats will win back both Houses because they are fighting back like I have never seen them do. This strong backbone approach will bring Democratic voters to the polls..
I've talked to Democrats locally (what few we have)and I tell ya most of them will say its about damn time and I agree it is about damn time.

Koch tried to keep a low profile but he's always been behind this. They called it the Tea Party but it's really been Koch's party all along. Racism was there but it hadn't been identified as a major motivator - yet. They were mainly screaming about taxes and budget deficits, and not one word of appreciation for how Obama & the Dems had saved our economy from tanking.

I agree that the Democratic Party should have fought these assholes harder. Once they got in they destroyed everything in sight. It's time to show them the door.
