Ari Melber played him a clip of Rachel Maddow clearly laying out that Kavanaugh was lying about the Renate Alumni club being a form of "affection" for Ms Renate, when everyone of sound mind knows these pricks were bragging that they all banged her, and he asked Markey if Kavanaugh was lying.

Attention Democrats! When asked if Kavanaugh is lying, the only answer is

YES!!!

or,

OF COURSE HE'S A DAMN LIAR!!!

or

HE'S A LYING SACK OF SHIT!!!!

Markey, instead took about 5 minutes to say that according to the girl (Renate), Kavanaugh appears to have not been forthcoming

I have friends (Thankfully the number since 2016 has gotten tiny) who actually believe that there are thuglicans who can still be reasoned with where health care is concerned They're what you'd call devout Catholics (I haven't been a devout/practicing Catholic since about 1999), and they try to see the good in people. There's no good in people like McConnell, Ryan, Graham, tRump who don't CARE if people/children/etc. die due to lack of decent health care. I truly believe in the power of prayer and am extremely spiritual. But, I'm not delusional or stupid enough to think that tRump/most thuglicans care about anybody but themselves, their donors, the richest 1% of white males & corporations.

18. I saw the Markey/Ari/Edwards interview ...

And honest to Gosh, I'd walked into the kitchen to get my Hummus when Ari asked Markey flat out if Kavanaugh was lying (About the Renate) thing, and returned and he'd STILL not been able to say plainly that Kavanaugh was lying. I was in my kitchen for about 3-4 minutes.

Markey's a good guy, but he's older (72), and it takes some older folks time to get their thoughts straight so that they can express themselves verbally. And sometimes, it takes time to explain things, but Ari asked him flat out of Kavanaugh was lying and it took Markey a LONG time to say yes. thuglicans can talk fast, gish gallop and it doesn't take most of them long to get their points across for sound bites/ads. Look at motor mouth Marsha Blackburn. Chick has a deadly motor mouth and won't shut up for shit. She and other thuglicans like her have been and are extremely effective in getting their messages across quickly & effectively. So yeah, I feel your angst
