But, they are afraid of what Trump will say to his base and what they may expect in the next election. So, they fold their cards.
They are like the little kid that keeps giving his lunch money to the bully. There is no reason for Jeff Flake and Lisa Murkowski to not make a stand. Flake is leaving the Senate in January. He has no future in the Republican Party, with what he has said and written about Donald Trump. Murkowski is a true Independent. Republicans deserted her in her last election and she had to petition on the ballot without their help. And she defeated their candidate. She owes them nothing. They should step forward.
